John D. Leone, Attorney

John is a 1985 graduate of New England School of Law, Boston, and a University of Massachusetts, Amherst alumni, class of 1981. He is a member of the Massachusetts and New York Bars, as well as the Federal Bars in those two states.

At Leone & Leone, John has concentrated his practice in civil actions in all State and Federal Courts. His areas of practice include: Personal Injury and Property Damage Cases, Commercial and General Liability, Contract Law, Bankruptcy, Probate Court and Estate Practice, Zoning Law, Wills and Trusts, Residential and Commercial Property Sale Transactions and Family Law.

John started in private practice in Garden City, New York at the offices of Congdon, Flaherty, O'Callaghan, Reid, Donlon and Travis. He handled all phases of civil litigation in Federal and State Courts, in cases involving personal injury and property damage, insurance coverage issues, commercial products and general liability. Additionally, John was part of the Real Estate Division at the firm, and he gained experience in drafting of Wills and Trusts, all phases of Probate Court Practice including Estate Tax Proceedings, and Residential and Commercial Sales Transactions. John continued in practice in New York until 1993, when he joined his father as a partner in his Arlington office.

John is an Approved Title Insurance Agent for Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation, First American Title Insurance Company and CATIC. His professional and business associations include; membership and a Board of Director member in the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, the Arlington Lodge of the sons of Italy (since 1977), and the Touchdown Club of Arlington, where he is also a Board of Director. John has also been involved with local issues as an Arlington Town Meeting Member since 1994.
